A New Palette by Remco Van Vliet

Remco Van Vliet's class on May 21st, 2009.
Look at all these wonderful colors!
Remco Van Vliet brought us a little breath of spring on a grey day in New York with his flowers. He crowded the school with viburnam branches that we cut down and placed into low containers making a centerpiece that would grace a table fit for a glorious dinner party. So many flowers! For a real treat, go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and see what he has designed for the Great Hall this week.

Meredith Waga's Master Class

Meredith Waga's Flowers at her class on May 14th, 2009 at FlowerSchool New York.
Meredith Waga gave us a wonderful class on May 14th. She usually brings the most beautiful flowers, but this time she had the class choose their own combinations of flowers -- each student came out with a bouquet that was different and individual. Here are three designs.
We are lucky to have Meredith teach another class this July on July 16th. Not only is she a talented designer, but she is an inspiration to all of us who are thinking about opening our own businesses!

Remco Van Vliet's Master Class in Tall Branches of Cherry blossoms

Another wonderful class with Remco who showed us the beauty of working with such tall flowering branches. The arrangement that Remco designed is similar to the arrangement he makes every Monday for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
